Mobile label printer with robust housing
The TSC Alpha-40L is a durable mobile direct thermal printer for manufacturing, retail, healthcare, transportation and logistics. It creates labels up to 112 mm wide with a maximum print speed of 127 mm/sec at 203 dpi. All the while, its incredibly powerful 6,200 mAh lithium-ion battery ensures long-lasting uptime. Its rubber-covered plastic housing is IP54 rated for dust and water protection, and is drop-proof from 1.8 meters. The optional protective cover even increases the drop protection up to 2.5 meters.
Other features of the Alpha-40L include USB-C 2.0 interfaces for communication purposes, NFC and optional MFi Bluetooth 5.0 or Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac. Seven control buttons, a clear 2.3″ color LCD, various sensors for status monitoring, and the 32-bit RISC CPU ensure smooth printing. The large memory consists of 128 MB SDRAM and 128 MB Flash or 256 MB SDRAM and 512 MB Flash. In addition, the printer offers numerous accessories and an optional linerless kit for linerless labels ex works.
