WEROCK Technologies GmbH, innovative manufacturer of industrial IT and communication solutions, announces the release of the Rocktab S108 and Rocktab S110. These are two powerful, rugged tablets. With the release, the manufacturer expands its range with two 8- and 10-inch models with an attractive price-performance ratio, which are suitable for adverse working environments and equipped with powerful processors, generous batteries and extensive features.
The lightweight and compact tablets are powerful and versatile in any work environment. They offer optimal ease of use for everyday business and score with a well thought-out range of accessories. A MediaTek Helio P60 processor with Android 10 operating system or an Intel quad-core processor with Windows 10 Professional provide sufficient performance. The tablets have a fixed SSD with 64 GB for storing data, which can be expanded via a micro SD card.
Fully designed for ruggedness, the Rocktab S100 series tablets are waterproof and dustproof according to IP67 standard, can withstand drops from up to 1.2 meters and can be reliably used in ambient temperatures from -10°C to +50°C. Users can therefore use the device even in harsh, dangerous or chaotic working conditions. This makes the devices ideal for use on construction sites, in warehouses, in vehicles, in the field for craftsmen and service providers, but also in rescue operations.
Generous battery capacities of up to 38 Wh, which can be changed on the 10-inch model, ensure uninterrupted work. It also offers an integrated LAN port and a serial RS232 interface. The Android version of the 8-inch model includes Google Mobile Services (GMD) with the Google Play Appstore and thus integrated access to over a million apps. Both tablets feature fast Internet thanks to 4G LTE, 802.11ac WLAN as well as Bluetooth 4.0, dedicated USB interfaces and an optional 2D barcode scanner for reliable communication between man, machine and devices.
