A new 21.5-inch panel PC for demanding applications in the automation industry as an HMI, smart panel or machine controller presented
Karlsruhe, February 27, 2024 – WEROCK Technologies GmbH presents the Rocksmart RSC622, a powerful addition to its Rocksmart RSC600 industrial panel PC family. The latest model boasts a 21.5-inch display and complements the existing RSC610, RSC612 and RSC622 models. The technical data of all models is largely comparable.
The Rocksmart RSC622 features a slim and high quality aluminum housing with IP65 front panel protection for optimal use in harsh indoor and outdoor environments. Compared to other competitive products, the Rocksmart RSC622 weighs only 5,6 kg, making it easy to integrate into control cabinets despite its size. Equipped with passive cooling and a wide operating temperature range, it supports both in-machine and free-standing installation with VESA mounting points.
The Rocksmart RSC622’s stunning 21.5-inch Full HD display with up to 1200 cd/m² brightness is ideal for use in a variety of environments. The gesture-enabled multi-touch screen and pressure-sensitive single-touch screen ensure easy and efficient operation.
Like all models in the Rocksmart RSC600 series, the latest model is based on the powerful Intel®ElkhartLake Celeron 4-core processor with 10nm lithography. An optional AI processor is
available that is compatible with all popular AI tools. Communication for fieldbus and real-time Ethernet protocols can be optionally supported as master or slave. Windows 10, Windows 11 or
Ubuntu Linux 22.04 are available as operating systems. Numerous interfaces are integrated in the Panel PCs, including 3 x USB 3.1 Gen 2, 2 x 2.5 Gbit Ethernet and 1 x RS232/422/485. It is also
possible to control up to three displays.
